Celtics Dominate Pacers, Take 2-0 Lead in East Finals
The Boston Celtics defeated the Indiana Pacers 133-128 in overtime on Thursday night to take a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals. Jaylen Brown led the Celtics with a game-high 40 points, while Jayson Tatum added 28 points and Marcus Smart had 24 points.
The Celtics led by 10 points with just over three minutes remaining in regulation, but the Pacers rallied to tie the game and send it to overtime. In overtime, the Celtics outscored the Pacers 13-8 to take the win.
The Celtics now have a 2-0 lead in the series and will host Game 3 on Saturday night.
